Our story begins 37 years ago in a small town in Central Mexico near what is called “The Huaxteca Potosina” where you will find some of the most beautiful natural places in Mexico with green turquoise and tall waterfalls. As a 3 year old at the time I saw my mother practice her entrepreneurship and cooking skills, yes I remember her opening her first tiny restaurant across the street from where we lived and slowly grew the business bigger, her food was the talk of the small town called Rio Verde San Luis Potosi, I remember the lines every night and the smell of great Mexican food combined with delicious hot peppers. Unfortunately she had to close down due to health issues and raise 3 little kids and one on the way, we were blessed as kids to have our mom with us all the time and for her to prepare her delicious recipes just for us. Her dream remained a dream until March of 2020 as we were sitting at the table at the beginning of the COVID-19 quarantine. She was talking about how great it would be to open a restaurant but right now was not the time, My self now 39 and a successful entrepreneur looked at her and said “then when is the best time?” We start small as I pointed to her salsa and said, let’s make that!, she laughed, the next two weeks we worked hard perfecting and duplicating the recipes and the processes. We made batch number 1 with 100% taste approval and we decided to launch Salsa Ranchito to fill our friends with happiness and joy.
